Privacy Policy

CastPilot Studio helps actors organize audition details, import casting emails, prepare sides, and rehearse. This policy explains how we handle personal information, audition materials, and Google user data.

Gmail read-only access

If you choose to connect your Google account, CastPilot Studio requests read-only access to Gmail using the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. This access is optional and is used solely to find audition-related messages, casting notices, self-tape requests, callback details, sides, attachments, deadlines, and related instructions so the app can organize that information for you.

CastPilot Studio may process Gmail metadata and content needed for this feature, including sender name and email address, subject line, message date, message snippets or body text, attachment indicators, and attachments or files you choose to import for audition prep. CastPilot Studio does not request permission to send email, delete email, modify email, or manage your mailbox.

Google API Services User Data Policy

CastPilot Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to provide and improve user-facing audition import and audition prep features visible inside the CastPilot Studio app.

• Gmail data is not sold, rented, traded, used for advertising, or used for retargeting.
• Gmail data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide user-facing CastPilot Studio features, comply with law, maintain security, or as otherwise permitted by Google's Limited Use policy.
• Humans do not read Gmail message contents unless you specifically ask for support involving that data, it is necessary for security, or it is required by law.
• You can disconnect Gmail inside the app or revoke access from your Google Account permissions page.

Audition files and AI processing

When you upload sides, scripts, notes, or audition materials, CastPilot Studio uses them to create audition prep, rehearsal notes, role organization, and related tools. AI providers may process content to generate user-requested prep. We do not use audition materials or Gmail data to build advertising profiles.

Storage and deletion

CastPilot Studio may store account data, Gmail connection metadata, protected OAuth tokens where required to maintain your connection, imported audition details, and files you choose to save. Disconnecting Gmail revokes ongoing access and removes the stored Gmail connection. You may contact support to request deletion of your data, subject to security, operational, or legal retention needs.
